A gallery should be something more than a simple empty box, predisposed to the exhibition and the sale of works of art. It must be, above all, a place of culture and an exchange of views and a scenario for each artist to to reconstruct in front of the public its own artistic universe, realized through paintings, sculptures, photographs -- andeven videos or installations.

Barbara Frigerio Contemporary Art is a Milan art gallery specialized in painting and figurative sculpture and photography. It is a space to find and admire well-known artists and to discover new names, witnessing an artistic expression that evolves over time, but always remains the highest expression of the human being. Beyond the premises of ambitious projects or words of praise about our previous artistic experience, Barbara Frigerio Contemporary Art views an importance in underlining the real engine of this new project: -- the passion for art and the desire to share visions and experiences with people.

Colors tell with works of
Marina Coccetti, Clara Rigamonti and Manuela Zanvettori

November 21st, 2017 to 13 January 13th, 2018

Works of design, ceramics and jewels accompany the works of Roshanak Khalilian

MARINA COCCETTI, born in Rome on June 18, 1963, architect and ceramist. Architecture is her first passion blossomed at an early age. She completed her studies with a thesis in museographic preparation.

CLARA RIGAMONTI was born on August 25, 1981 in Milan in a family where the art of typography seems already to mark its path in the field of image, and that's how at the age of six has already clear what to do when you grow up: create the "beautiful" and draw clothes. After finishing her artistic studies, she attended the famous Marangoni Fashion School, with whom he entered the magical world of fashion and design.

MANUELA has grown up in that artisanal and creative environment, since she was a child from the dark and secret furnaces of colorful objects, precious and able to take any form, has certainly not left her indifferent to that unique world, linked to the processing and to the transformation of an ancestral material such as glass.

Roshanak Khalilian

"The colors tell"
November 21st, 2017 to January 13th, 2018
Opening: Tuesday, November 21st from 6 pm

Persian artist Roshanak Khalilian's work is made up of colors: brushstrokes and chromatic shades; red, blue, yellow and gold put together like words on a white page. They are tales of matter and light; they tell stories of love, passion, fear and loss. A kaleidoscope of emotions that are nothing but the sum of the life of each of us, who seeks out and finds a piece of himself on the canvas.
Referring to and merging the Eastern tradition with the Western tradition, Khalilian is an interpreter of an art that wants to be the spokesman of human feelings, often giving a vision of hope; as in the series "All that gold" in which gold, an element that has always been used in art since ancient times, is chosen not only for its meaning of wealth and power but also for its incorruptible, perennial being, a point fixed, almost to reassure each of us of the existence of something certain, positive.
