Haim Steinbach
„lemon yellow“ , 2017, Lia Rumma, Naples

Galleria Lia Rumma is pleased to announce lemon yellow, a solo exhibition of Haim Steinbach, which will open on 25 May 2017 in the Naples gallery. With lemon yellow, Steinbach returns to Naples, and the gallery that put on his first solo exhibition in Europe in 1987.
The focus is now on the mutability of meanings available within an object as it pertains to colour and form. In particular, the ways in which architecture is object regardless of shape, form, colour or scale. Like architecture, an object occupies space like the interior or exterior of a volume.

Reinhard Mucha
Schneller werden ohne Zeitverlust, 2016, Lia Rumma, Milan

Lia Rumma Gallery is pleased to present the solo exhibition Schneller werden ohne Zeitverlust (Getting Faster without Time Loss) by Reinhard Mucha, which opens on 24 November 2016 at 6.30 p.m. in Milan. The current show follows Mutterseelenallein, Mucha’s exhibition opened on 29 June 1989 in Naples: it was a major event destined to leave its mark on the longlasting relationship between the Gallery and the artist. Those were the years of Mucha’s remarkable solo exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Basel (Nordausgang) and Kunsthalle Bern (Kasse beim Fahrer) 1987, of Gladbeck, the show put on in 1986 at the Musée National d’Art Moderne, Centre Georges Pompidou, in Paris and the one shown two years previously at the Württembergischer Kunstverein in Stuttgart.
